The Faculty of Social Sciences has four branches: Linguistics- Literature, History, Geography and Communication Mass media. After finishing studies at this faculty, the faculty issues the following diplomas:

• “Bachelor degree in Albanian Language and Literature”,
• “Bachelor degree in History”,
• “Bachelor degree in Geography”,
• “ Bachelor degree in Communication Mass media”.

This faculty has four departments (Linguistic, Literature, History and Geography), the Massmedia Sector and the the Institute of Albanological Studies.
44 full-time pedagogues teach at this faculty. The academic staff of this faculty is composed of 10Professors, 3 Associated Professors, 10 Ph D, 9 in the process of doctoral studies, 7 Maters, one docent and 4 lecturers.
There also teach 43 part-time pedagogues at this faculty (20 Professors, 4 Associated Professors, 5 PhD, 5 in the process of doctoral studies, 5 Master and 5 lecturers.
