The art exhibition was opened on 11. 05. 2012 at the Faculty of Educational Sciences. This exhibition was a presentation of pictures, the conclusion of a 7-year job that is part of the agreement and the projects implemented between the Faculty of Education at the University of Shkodra 'Luigj Gurakuqi " and FHNW Pedagogische Hochchule Solothurn (Switzerland). At this ceremony there present Pro-Rector of Shkodra University, Prof. as.dr. Fatmir Vadahi, the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Prof. as. dr. Gëzim Dibra, professors, students and teachers. The Head of the Teaching Department, Dr. Mehdi Kroni, said he was glad for the progress of this project in all its phases. He thanked the organizers and expressed his consideration for this cooperation which will be extended in the future. The Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Prof. as. dr. Gëzim Dibra, praised the interest of the participants for this exhibition. He particularly thanked the professors and students for their dedication to this project. Prof. as. dr. Ikbal Kalaja, one of the organizers of this event, expressed her satisfaction for the work and especially for the active participation of students. Historical Bacground of this colloaboration: The first project cooperation agreement was signed in July of 2005 by the director of FHNW Hochschule Pädagogische Prof. Marlin Straumann and the Rector of the University of Shkodra "Luigi Gurakuqi", Prof. dr. Mahir Hoti and the dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at that time Prof. as. dr. Gezim Dibra. The project coordinator for the Swiss side was Christiane Lubos, while for the Albanian side was Albana Hallunaj. The cooperation was at institutional level until May 2006. Later this cooperation became increasingly active and tangible. It started bilateral exchange of experiences between pedagogues and students. There was signed the second phase of the project 2009-2011, in April of 2009 by the director of FHNW Hochschule Pädagogische on the Swiss side, the rector of Shkodra University Prof. Artan Haxhi and the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at that time, Prof. as. dr. Mit'hat Hoxha. Activities 15 - 24 May 2006- the Albanian delegation visited Switzerland. 6- 13 October 2006 - the visit of the Swiss group of professors and students to the University of Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi" 1 - 10 July. 2007- the visit of a group of professors from Hochschule Solothurn Pädagogische Fl-INW to the University of Shkodra Luigj Gurakuqi 3-10 November. 2007- the visit of a group of professors from the University of Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi" to FHNW Pädagogische Hochschule Solothurn. 1 - 15 November, 2006- the specialization of the Albanian coordinator for the Global Learning, in FHNW Pädagogische Hochschule Solothurn 25 - 28 November 2008 - the participation of the art professor from FHNW Pädagogische Hochschule Solothurn, in the international Colony of Artists in the "Mio Days" in Korce. Albania. 25 - 29 March. 2000- the workshop on the project design for the second phase in Shkodra 23 - 30 September. 2009 - the mutual workshop on figure play, with professors and students from both universities in FHNW Pädagogische Hochschule Solothurn 29 - 30 June, 2010- the mutual workshop on figure play, participating professors and students from both universities as well as teachers from kindergartens and schools in Shkodra. 30 June, 2010 - delivery ceremony of a check of 5000 Euro-s by the Swiss partner to the University of Shkodra, through a group of donors to assist in creating the room of Art and Global Learning, by Faculty of Educational Sciences in this university. 25 - 28 November, 2010 - the participation of FHNW Pädagogische Hochschule Solothurn art professors in the international Colony of Artists in the "Mio Days' in Korea, Albania February 19, 2011 - the distribution ceremony of certificates to the participants to the mutual workshop on the figure play organized in Shkodra March 14, 2011 - the round table at the University of Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi". 31 March - 2 April. 2011 - the participation of two professors from the University of Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi” in a conference in Zurich organized by the Education and Development Foundation. October 2011 - visit by a Swiss group of professors, teachers and students to the University of Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi". September 2011 - visit of two professors from the University of Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi" to Switzerland in the music field. The Goals of this Cooperation Project - Improve technology and teaching methodology. - Understanding and living with the cultures´ diversity. - Training of the future teachers to apply new knowledge and experiences in Art and Global Learning Achievements - Create the room of Art and Global Learning. - Train a professor on Global Learning. - Diplomas dissertation in the field of the dolls play art - Include the subject of Global Learning in the curriculum of the Elementary and Pre- elementary school branches. - Include projects with figure play art program of the pre-elementary school branch. - Use new methods in teaching practice.
