The promotion of bilingual publication titled ” Selection from the contemporary poetry and drama of Albanian and Montenegrin authors” was organized on Wednesday, November 22, at 17 o’clock, at the University Library . The book is published within the project Dva jezika jedna knjga – Dy gjuhe një libër, which is jointly implemented by NGO Prostory, Podgorica and University “Luigj Gurakuqi”, Shkoder with partners  Centre for the preservation and development of cultural minorities and Cultural Centre “Camaj Pipa”, Albania, and financed by The European Union , The European Community represented by The Delegation of the European Commission to Albania and The Delegation of the European Commission to Montenegro / IPA Cross-Border Programme Albania-Montenegro, 2007-2013, IPA 2007 annual allocation.

    The bilingual publication Izbor iz savremene albanske poezije i drame/ Përzgjedhje nga poezia dhe drama bashkëkohore malazeze is edited by Ljubomir Đurković, Montenegrin playwright, Lisandri Kola, Albanian poet. This is also the first bilingual publication published within the project Dva jezika jedna knjga – Dy gjuhe një libër.

    The poetry and dramas of the following Albanian and Montenegrin contemporary authors are published in this book: Zef Zorba, Martin Camaj,  Frederik Reshpja,  Doda Kaçaj, Primo Shllaku,  Sokolj Zekaj, Shpetim Kelmendi, Brikena Smajli, Arben Prendi, Petrit Nika, Ljedia Dushi, Lisandri Kola,  Serafin Fanko, Stefan Çapaliku, Mladen Lompar, Čedomila Vujošević, Milorad Popović, Nebojša Nikčević, Balša Brković, Aleksandar Bečanović, Pavle Goranović, Jovanka Uljarević, Vladimir Đurišić, Sanja Martinović, Dragana Tripković, Dušan Đurović, Radmila Vojvodić, Nataša Nelević i Ljubomir Đurković.

The object of this project is introducing new and long-term communication between the two cultures, improving cultural, social and economic situation in the border area and providing conditions for good quality development of civic multi-ethnic communities. The main activities envisaged by the project include the posting a web site for bilingual communication, in Albanian and Montenegrin, organising public discussions in Shkodër and Podgorica with the topics of literary and translation activities in Albania and Montenegro, preparing and printing two bilingual publications including the works of Albanian and Montenegrin authors, Presentation of Albanian and Montenegrin authors, promotion of publications in Podgorica and Shkodër.
